Flavour Harvest
Flavour Harvest is a playful audio experience created by Reset in collaboration with the Canadian Centre for Food and Ecology (CCFE). Hosted at 31 farmers markets this summer, it invites shoppers to reflect on what shapes their food choices through a guided audio experience. Rooted in behavioural science and joy, the project explores how motivation and story can shift habits toward better, more sustainable food. It’s part education, part entertainment—and 100% flavour-forward.

Flavour Harvest is a playful, audio-guided experience co-created by Reset and the Canadian Centre for Food and Ecology (CCFE). Hosted weekly at 31 farmers markets throughout summer 2025—including Sorauren (Mondays), Dufferin Grove (Thursdays), and Deeply Rooted (Sundays)—the activation invites shoppers to reflect on what shapes their food choices. Rooted in joy and behavioural science, it’s part education, part entertainment—and 100% flavour-forward.

CCFE approached Reset after experiencing our audio work at Wonderverse, recognizing a strong alignment with our approach to public storytelling and embodied learning. The project is years in the making, and was strengthened by longstanding relationships with co-stewards Christie Wong and Susanna Redekop, whose leadership in food and justice work has shaped Flavour Harvest’s vision.

Flavour Harvest felt like the perfect convergence of our work—from Pop-Up Playground to Wonderverse—bringing guided audio into public space for connection and change. We were deeply aligned with CCFE’s values, and saw powerful potential in using playful formats to activate reflection, learning, and behaviour change in community markets.

In addition to the full team at CCFE, Flavour Harvest is co-led by Christie Wong and Genevieve Melito, with creative and strategic support from Adil Dhalla-Kim. The audio was written by DJ Me Time, produced by Sal Talon, and narrated by Micha Edwards, who also leads on-site activations alongside Joshua, Safiya, Alyne, and Jericho.

Reset was compensated $42,000 for the design and execution of Flavour Harvest through funding secured by CCFE as part of their multi-year national project focused on shifting food behaviours through story and strategy.
